LEBANON, Ill. - The Lincoln women's soccer team allowed only two goals in the first half of its match at McKendree on Sunday (Oct. 5), but a bevy of second half shots helped the Bearcats preserve the win. McKendree finished with a 9-0 victory over LU.

Carolina Dos Santos had a shot on goal. Ivanna Faria and Madison Wimberly also had shot attempts while Michelle Granja made a save.

The Blue Tigers fell to 0-5-2 on the season and 0-5-1 in GLVC play. McKendree, meanwhile, improved to 6-0-4 overall and 6-0-1 in the conference.

Lincoln returns home to host Illinois-Springfield on Friday (Oct. 10) at 5:00 p.m. CDT at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
