INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the second time in the 2025-26 season, Lincoln junior Divya Gunasegar has been selected as the GLVC Women's Golfer of the Week. The league office announced the award on Thursday (Oct. 30).

Gunasegar won her second tournament of the season after shooting a 158 at the WWU Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 27-28). Gunasegar led from start to finish after becoming the only player in the tourney to break 80 in the first round with her total of 77. She shot an 81 in the second round to win the individual championship by two strokes despite playing in rain and soggy turf conditions. 

This is the third GLVC Women's Golfer of the Week award for Gunasegar, who also was honored on Oct. 2. She additionally won the award this past spring on April 10.
