INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After winning the individual championship at the WWU Fall Invitational, Lincoln's Divya Gunasegar was chosen as the GLVC Women's Golf Player of the Week. The league office announced the award on Thursday (Oct. 2).

Gunasegar led the WWU Fall Invitational, hosted by William Woods University at Tanglewood Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29-30), from start to finish. She was the only player to shoot an even-par 72 during the opening round of the tourney on Monday. During Tuesday's second round, Gunasegar recorded a 74. Her final score of 146 in the 52-player field was the best, beating the runner-up by one stroke.

This is the second time in her career that Gunasegar has been named the GLVC Women's Golf Player of the Week, as she also claimed the award back on April 10.
