Ivanna Faria scored a second-half goal, but the Lincoln women's soccer team fell to Lewis, 2-1, on Friday night (Oct. 17).
Faria's goal came in the 49th minute to pull the Blue Tigers to within one goal of the Flyers.
Madison Wimberly also had a shot on goal in the second half, but Lewis (6-1-5, 5-1-3 GLVC) kept Lincoln (0-7-3, 0-7-2 GLVC) from scoring the equalizer.Â
Michelle Granja made eight saves for the Blue Tigers.
Lincoln remains on the road to play at Upper Iowa on Sunday (Oct. 19) at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
