JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln women's soccer team held the advantage in both total shots and shots on goal, but Sunday's (Oct. 12) match between the Blue Tigers and Indianapolis ended in a 0-0 draw.
Lincoln (0-6-3, 0-6-2 GLVC) out-shot the Greyhounds, 12-8, and ended the day with a 6-5 advantage on shots on goal. LU also had four corner kick opportunities compared to one for Indianapolis (1-6-3, 1-5-3 GLVC). Four different Blue Tigers finished the afternoon with three total shots, including
Mia Greathouse, who led Lincoln with three shots on goal.
Michelle Granja made five saves en route to recording the shutout, the first of the season for LU.
Madison Wimberly had three shots, two of which were on the goal, and
Angela Reynolds had Lincoln's other shot on the net to go with three shot attempts.
Juli Wismar also had three shots for the Blue Tigers.
On Friday (Oct. 17), the Blue Tigers travel to Romeoville, Ill. to play Lewis at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
