JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln head softball coach
Jason Ollison and head women's soccer coach
Leah Stringer were named "Missouri's Best" at their respective positions in the 2024-25 edition of Missouri's Best Magazine.
This is the third-straight year that Ollison has been named "Missouri's Best" college softball coach. Ollison, now in his third season leading the Lincoln softball program, led the Blue Tigers to their best season in 10 years last spring. That included an 11-1 victory over Newman, LU's largest margin of victory over a conference opponent in eight years. In addition to their success on the field, Ollison's players also excelled in the classroom, with 24 student-athletes earning a spot on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Coach Stringer, the first-ever women's soccer coach at Lincoln, spent the 2023-24 school year building the program and developing the roster in preparation for LU's debut season this fall. Stringer assembled a roster that will make history when the Blue Tigers open the 2024 season on Friday, Sept. 6 by playing Minnesota Crookston in South Dakota.
