BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Lincoln women's golf team finished in ninth place at the 2024 MIAA Championship, held at Silo Ridge Country Club from Monday (April 22) through Wednesday (April 24).

Kaathi Gunasegar tied for 22nd overall with a three-round total of 234, shooting an 81 in the first round, a 75 in the second and a 78 in the third. Divya Gunasegar, meanwhile, tied for 37th after posting totals of 85, 80 and 84 for a three-day sum of 249.

Maria Villamil shot 18-hole totals of 82, 86 and 85 to end the tournament with a sum of 253. Marsya Nazri finished one stroke back of Villamil with a 254, as she shot scores of 88, 85 and 81. Nyah Singh played the first and third rounds, carding scores of 91 and 82, respectively. Elliott Hull, meanwhile, played the second round and shot 90.

The Blue Tigers will close the 2023-24 season by playing in the PGA WORKS Championship, which will be held at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on May 6-8.
