Imani Harris scored 13 points and
Hanne Nybo nearly turned in a double-double, but the Lincoln women's basketball team dropped a 70-49 decision to Missouri S&T on Monday night (Dec. 2).
Harris led LU with four steals and dished an assist to go with two rebounds while Nybo ended the evening with nine points, a team-high 10 rebounds and a steal. The Blue Tigers forced 16 turnovers, but Missouri S&T (4-1, 1-0 GLVC) shot .413 from the field while holding LU to just one successful trey.Â
Chase Giddings had two steals for Lincoln (1-4, 0-2 GLVC) and chipped in four points to go with three boards and an assist.
Isis Sanders added six points and a rebound to the LU cause while
Biance Stocks had four points, two boards and an assist.
Cassidy Gladney also had an assist and scored two points while pulling down four rebounds.
Emma Wolken had a steal and
Kiara Cabrera provided six points and six boards.
Kaleah Toran closed the scoring with five points and three rebounds.
Lincoln returns home to host Lewis on Thursday (Dec. 5) at 5:30 p.m. CST.
