JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln women's soccer team played its penultimate match of the season on Friday night (Nov. 1).
The Blue Tigers dropped a 4-0 decision to Rockhurst (11-5-1, 9-3-1 GLVC), which scored all of its goals in the first half. Lincoln (5-12, 1-12 GLVC) was held to just two shots in the contest, only one of which, by
Leila Byru, was on the goal.
Ivanna Faria had the other shot attempt and
Kanon Dehama made seven saves.
Lincoln closes its inaugural season of women's soccer on Sunday (Nov. 3) when the Blue Tigers host William Jewell at Jefferson City High School Soccer Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CST.
