QUINCY, Ill. - The Lincoln women's soccer team played the final road match of its inaugural season on Sunday (Oct. 27), falling to Quincy, 4-0.
Quincy (4-8-3, 4-5-3 GLVC) scored a pair of goals in each half and finished with a 10-4 margin on shots on goal. Lincoln (5-11, 1-11 GLVC) had seven shots overall and goalkeeper
Michelle Granja made six saves.
Ivanna Faria led LU with three shots overall and two on goal while
Leila Byru and
Jaelyn Drake each had a shot on goal as well.
Faith Wylie and
Courtney-Nicole Cooper also had shots for Lincoln.
The Blue Tigers return home to host Rockhurst at Jefferson City High School Soccer Field on Friday (Nov. 1) at 5:00 p.m. CT.
