KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - In the penultimate road game of 2024 for the Lincoln women's soccer team, the Blue Tigers fell to Truman State, 2-0, on Friday afternoon (Oct. 25).
Truman State (4-6-4, 3-5-3 GLVC) scored 1:31 into the match and again at 24:54. Lincoln (5-10, 1-10 GLVC) had eight shots overall, five of which were on goal, and held the Bulldogs to just four total shots on goal.
Ivanna Faria led the Blue Tigers with six overall shots and three shots on goal.
Jia Diaz and
Cierra Bradley, meanwhile, each had one shot on the net.
Kanon Dehama made three saves.
Lincoln plays its final road contest of the season on Sunday (Oct. 27) when the Blue Tigers travel to Quincy, Ill. to play Quincy at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
