JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -
Ivanna Faria scored her seventh goal of the 2024 season on Sunday (Oct. 20), but the Lincoln women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Lewis.
Michelle Granja played the complete game in the goal and made 10 stops while Faria had four shots on goal and five overall.
Angela Reynolds made three shots attempts, all of which were on the net, and
Grace Larson also provided a shot on goal.
Lewis (3-9-1, 3-7 GLVC) scored in the 13th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. Lincoln (5-9, 1-9 GLVC) tied the game on Faria's goal in the 59th minute, but the Flyers scored off of a deflection in the 68th minute for the eventual game-winner.
Lincoln visits Kirksville, Mo. on Friday (Oct. 25) to play Truman State at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
