Round Two Results
BESSEMER, Ala. - The Lincoln men's golf team is in fifth place following the second round of the PGA WORKS Championship, played at Bent Brook Golf Course and Shoal Creek Golf Club on Tuesday (May 9). Lincoln has a team score of 620 and is just four strokes out of third place.
Henry Mwanza leads the Blue Tigers with a total of 151, as he fired a 72 on Monday (May 8) before shooting a 79 during the second round of the three-day tournament. Mwanza is tied for seventh overall.
Remon Rabie is also in the top-10, as he enters the final round of the tourney in ninth place with a sum of 152. Rabie also carded a 79 on Tuesday after opening play with a 73 on Monday.
Dedrick Harris II, meanwhile, is in a tie for 14th after tallying scores of 75 and 81 for a two-day sum of 156.
Also in the top-20 of the individual field is
Austin Shoemaker, as he is tied for 19th with a total of 161. Shoemaker opened the tournament with 81, then carded an 80 on Tuesday. Closing out the Blue Tigers is
Darshan Gunasegar, who has recorded scores of 85 and 87 for a total of 172.
Lincoln will wrap up play in the 2023 PGA WORKS Championship with the third and final round on Wednesday (May 10).
