JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln men's golf team is in Bessemer, Ala. this week for the PGA WORKS Championship, an annual tournament hosted by the PGA featuring golfers from historically black colleges and universities across the country. The three-round tournament, which will be played at Bent Brook Golf Course and Shoal Creek Golf Club, will take place from Monday through Wednesday (May 8-10). Parts of the PGA WORKS Championship will be televised on the Golf Channel each day from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT, and the network will also show highlights from 7:30 p.m. CDT to 10:30 p.m. CDT every day. Lincoln will like be prominently featured on Tuesday, as the Blue Tigers are playing at Shoal Creek that afternoon.
