Final Results
NEWTON, Kan. - The Lincoln women's golf team finished in ninth out of 15 teams at the Newman Invitational, hosted by Newman University at Sand Creek Station Golf Course. Both rounds of the invite were played on Monday (April 3).

Kaathi Gunasegar led Lincoln with a 146 after shooting scores of 70 and 76. Gunasegar tied for 13th overall. Marsya Nazri tied for 29th, tallying scores of 78 and 75 for a final sum of 153. Nyah Singh, meanwhile, tied for 45th with a 159. Singh shot a 78 in the opening round and an 81 in the second.

Maria Villamil closed the scoring for LU with a 170, as she shot an 80 in the first round before carding a 90 in the second round. Elliott Hull rounded out Lincoln with a 171 after shooting an 86 and an 85.

Lincoln will play in the UMSL Spring Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Mo. on Sunday and Monday (April 9-10).
