Final Results
JOPLIN, Mo. - The Lincoln women's golf team finished in 15th at its final regular season tournament of 2022-23, the Virginia Laas Invitational, hosted at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Joplin, Mo. by Missouri Southern State University on Monday and Tuesday (May 10-11).

Kaathi Gunasegar led the Blue Tigers at the three-round tournament with a total of 246, tying her for 32nd on the individual leaderboard. Gunasegar lowered her score by three each round, opening with an 85 before carding an 82 in the second round and a 79 in the third.

Nyah Singh was next for LU with a final score of 254, as she shot an 87 in the first round and an 89 in the second before firing a 78 on Tuesday. Saikati Gikonyo, meanwhile, shot an 85 in each of the final two rounds to go with a first-round 94 for a total sum of 264.

Marsya Nazri ended the tourney with a 268, posting scores of 93, 89 and 86. Closing out the team performance for Lincoln was Maria Villamil, who shot a 277 with scores of 93, 96 and 98.

Also ending the tournament with a 277 was Elliott Hull, who played as an individual at the Virginia Laas Invitational. Hull shot a 90 in each of the first two rounds before carding a 97 on Tuesday.

Lincoln will close out its season at the 2023 MIAA Women's Golf Championship, which will also be played at Eagle Creek Golf Club on April 24-26.
