MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Lincoln men's golf team is in fifth place after the first day of the Buccaneer Spring Classic, hosted at Irene Golf Club by Christian Brothers University on Monday (March 6).

Remon Rabie led LU with a 77 in the first round of the three-round tourney, placing him in a tie for 14th overall. The second round of the Buccaneer Spring Classic was suspended midway through due to darkness.

Austin Shoemaker shot a 79 to end the day tied for 22nd, and Dedrick Harris II carded a 78 while Henry Mwanza carded an 83 in his first tournament with the Blue Tigers. As a team, Lincoln finished with a total of 310 to end the day in fifth out of 10 teams.

Lincoln will conclude the second round and play the third round of the Buccaneer Spring Classic on Tuesday (March 7).
