KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Seven members of the Lincoln women's basketball team and three from the men's program were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have completed at least two full semesters at a member institution and possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
All three seniors on the LU women's basketball team made the honor roll: Niyah Jackson, a wellness major from Williston, Fla.; Le'Yanna McGinnis, a wellness major from Olathe, Kan.; and Kelsey Mitchell, an elementary education major from Tipton, Ind.
Junior Imani Jones, a business administration major from Sarasota, Fla., made the honor roll, as did three sophomores: Aliyah Bello, a wellness major from Blue Springs, Mo.; AJ Bradley, a wellness major from Kansas City, Mo.; and Ayreona Carter, a nursing science major from Kansas City, Kan.
The three members of the Lincoln men's team who were honored were senior
Sai Witt, junior
Arash Yaqubi and sophomore
Richard Craddock. Witt is a wellness major from Kansas City, Mo., and Yaqubi is a wellness major from Sacramento, Calif. Craddock, meanwhile, is a nursing science major from Kansas City, Mo.
Freshmen and newcomer members of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll will be announced in June.
