WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Lincoln women's golf team shot a 341 during the first round of the Midwest Intercollegiate and is in eighth out of 14 teams. The two-day tournament, co-hosted by Drury University and the University of Central Missouri, is being played at Mules National Golf Club.

Kaathi Gunasegar led the Blue Tigers with an 84 on Monday (March 20), while Elliott Hull and Maria Villamil each shot an 85. Gunasegar is tied for 25th overall while Hull and Villamil are each tied for 32nd. Marsya Nazri and Nyah Singh, meanwhile, each shot an 87 and are tied for 44th on the individual leaderboard.

Saikati Gikonyo played as an individual on Monday and shot an 84 to finish the day tied for 25th.

Lincoln, which is one stroke out of sixth and eight out of the top-five, will close out play in the Midwest Intercollegiate on Tuesday (March 21).
