COLUMBIA, Mo. - For the second time in three tournaments this season, the Lincoln women's golf finished as the runner-up, as the Blue Tigers took second place at the Cougar Classic. LU finished with a score of 643, just one stroke behind the host school, Columbia College, which scored a 642. The two-day tournament was held at Columbia Country Club on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3).

Kaathi Gunasegar and
Nyah Singh all tied for third place after shooting totals of 160.
Divya Gunasegar opened the tourney with a 77 before shooting an 83 in the second round.
Kaathi Gunasegar shot an 80 in each round while Singh tallied scores of 78 and 82.
Marsya Nazri rounded out the top-10 with a sum of 164, as she carded scores of 79 and 85.
Maria Villamil closed out the Blue Tigers with a 170, good for 15th. Villamil shot an 84 in the opening round and an 86 in the second.
Lincoln previously finished in second place at its season-opening tournament, the WWU Fall Invitational, held on Sept. 18-19.
The Blue Tigers will next play in the Midwest Classic, hosted by the University of Central Missouri at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Mo. on Oct. 16-17.
