COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Lincoln women's golf team is in first place following the first round of the two-day Cougar Classic, hosted by Columbia College at Columbia Country Club on Monday (Oct. 2).
The Blue Tigers shot a team score of 323 and lead the host team by four strokes after Columbia shot a 327.
Divya Gunasegar currently leads the individual field with a 77 while
Kaathi Gunasegar is in second with an 80.
Nyah Singh is also in the top-10 after the first round, as she fired an 82 on Monday to end the day in eighth.
Maria Villamil is in 13th after carding an 84, placing her one shot ahead of
Marsya Nazri, who recorded an 85.
Lincoln will close out play in the Cougar Classic on Tuesday (Oct. 3).
