CATOOSA, Okla. - Nyah Singh shot a two-round 173 to lead the Lincoln women's golf team to a 13th-place finish at the season-opening NSU Women's Golf Classic, hosted by Northeastern State University at Cherokee Hills Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 12-13).

Singh opened the tournament with an 86 before carding an 87 on Tuesday during the second and final round.

Elliott Hull shot an 88 on Monday and an 89 on Tuesday to finish second among the Blue Tigers with a 177. Placing two strokes behind Hull was Marsya Nazri, who shot a 179 for the tourney after posting scores of 90 and 89.

Maria Villamil closed out LU with a 180 after improving her total by four strokes between rounds. Villamil shot a 92 on Monday, but came back on Tuesday to card an 88.

Lincoln will play one more tournament this fall, the Lady Tiger Classic, which will be hosted by Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan. at Smoky Hill Country Club on Sept. 26-27.
