JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln women's golf team opens its 2022-23 slate on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 12-13) at the 23rd NSU Women's Golf Classic, hosted by Northeastern State University in Catoosa, Okla. at Cherokee Hills Golf Club. 

Four golfers will represent LU this week, including Marsya Nazri, who led the Blue Tigers at the PGA WORKS Championship last spring with a 263. Nazri shot a two-round 169 to take third place at the Rockhurst Invitational, where the Blue Tigers ended up finishing in second place overall.

Nazri and Nyah Singh tied for the team-lead at the MIAA Championship, while Maria Villamil finished in 11th at the WWU Fall Invitational last year. Also representing Lincoln this week is Elliott Hull, who placed 16th at the WWU Invite, helping the Blue Tigers take third overall.

This will be the first of two tournaments in the fall for the Blue Tigers, who will also compete in the Lady Tiger Classic in Hays, Kan. at Smoky Hill Country Club on Sept. 26-27.
