JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln University head softball coach Christine Core has tendered her resignation, effective Wednesday, May 4. Core is concluding her fourth year as LU's head coach.

"We appreciate how Christine continued to battle during her time here, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors," said Dr. Kevin Wilson, Vice President for Advancement, Athletics and Campus Recreation.

A national search will begin immediately to identify the next leader of the Blue Tiger softball program.
