OWASSO, Okla. - The Lincoln men's golf team shot a two-round 609 to end Monday (March 14) in fifth place at the Hillcat Classic, hosted by Rogers State University at Bailey Ranch Golf Club. In its first tournament of the spring season, LU shot a 302 in the first round and a 307 in the second.
Dedrick Harris II is in 10th place overall after carding a 72 in the second round on Monday. Harris opened the tourney with a 77 to finish the day with a sum of 149.
Hunter Ramirez and
Darshan Gunasegar are each tied for 16th after ending the day with totals of 151. Ramirez fired a 74 in the first round and a 77 in the second. Gunasegar led Lincoln in the first round with a 72, and carded a 79 in the afternoon session.
Brett Trowbridge put together rounds of 83 and 79 to finish the day with a 162.
Remon Rabie, meanwhile, totaled a 165 on Monday after shooting scores of 79 and 86.
Lincoln will close play in the Hillcat Classic with the third and final round on Tuesday (March 15).
