Remon Rabie finished tied for 17th overall as the Lincoln men's golf team came in 10th at the Washburn Invitational, hosted by Washburn University at Topeka Country Club on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3-4).
Rabie finished the three-round tournament with a total of 225. Rabie shot a team-low score of 72 in the second round after opening the invitational with a 74. On Tuesday, Rabie carded a 79.
Darshan Gunasegar closed out the top-30 with a score of 230 after posting a 74 in each of the final two rounds following an 82 in the opener.
Dedrick Harris II, meanwhile, shot an 82 in the first round, a 75 in the second and an 80 in the third to close the tourney with a 237.
Hunter Ramirez ended the tournament one shot back of Harris, as he posted a three-round sum of 238. Ramirez carded an 82 during the opening round and a 78 in each of the last two rounds.
Austin Shoemaker closed out LU with a 244 after shooting scores of 79, 84 and 81.
Up next for the Blue Tigers is the Holiday Inn Express Men's Invitational, hosted by Missouri Western State University at St. Joseph Country in St. Joseph, Mo. on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 10-11).
