Day One Results
TOPEKA, Kan. - The Lincoln men's golf team is in 10th place after the first two rounds of the Washburn Invitational, played on Monday (Oct. 3). The three-round tournament, hosted by Washburn University, is being played at Topeka Country Club.
Remon Rabie is tied for 10th on the individual leaderboard after firing a 74 in the opening round and a one-over 72 during the afternoon session. Rabie has a total score of 146 entering the final round of the tournament.
Darshan Gunasegar is tied for 41st with a 156 after improving from a first-round 82 by shooting a 74 in the second.
Dedrick Harris II is one stroke back with a 157 after putting together scores of 82 and 75, placing him in a tie for 46th.
Hunter Ramirez also had an 82 in the first round, and shaved four strokes off that total to card a 78 in the second round. Ramirez finished the day with a 160.
Austin Shoemaker, meanwhile, rounded out the Blue Tigers with a 163 after carding scores of 79 and 84.
The Blue Tigers will close out the Washburn Invitational with the third and final round on Tuesday (Oct. 4).
