ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Lincoln men's golf team posted its second-straight top-10 result of 2022-23 on Tuesday (Oct. 11) as the Blue Tigers finished 10th at the Holiday Inn Express Classic. The two-day, three-round tournament, hosted by Missouri Western State University, was played at St. Joseph Country Club on Monday (Oct. 10) and Tuesday.

Remon Rabie led LU with a three-round total of 231, highlighted by a 74 in the second round. Rabie, who tied for 42nd overall, carded a 77 in the first round and an 80 in the third. Darshan Gunasegar, meanwhile, shot a 234 for the tournament after posting round totals of 76, 78 and 80.

Austin Shoemaker led the Blue Tigers with a 77 on Tuesday after shooting an 82 and an 81 on Monday for a total of 240. Placing two strokes behind Shoemaker was Dedrick Harris II, who opened the tourney with an 80, fired a 77 in the middle set of 18 holes and ended the tournament with an 85. Harris carded a 242 for the tournament.

Also representing the Blue Tigers on Monday was Hunter Ramirez, who ended the first two rounds with a total of 151 after shooting scores of 74 and 77.

Lincoln will close the fall portion of its 2022-23 season at the Newman Invitational, which will be played in Newton, Kan. next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 17-18).
