WARRENSBURG, Mo. - Saikati Gikonyo shot a two-round 171 to lead the Lincoln women's golf team to an 18th-place finish at the Midwest Classic on Tuesday (Oct. 19). The two-round tournament, hosted by the University of Central Missouri at Warrensburg, Mo., was the last of five tournaments on the Blue Tigers' fall 2021 schedule.

Gikonyo carded an 84 on Monday (Oct. 18) before shooting an 87 on Tuesday. Nyah Singh had LU's next-lowest total of 182 after tallying scores of 87 and 95.

Maria Villamil and Elliott Hull tied with identical scores of 188. Villamil shot a 92 on Monday and a 96 on Tuesday. Hull, meanwhile, carded a 96 in the first round and a 92 in the second.
