KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lincoln seniors
Casey Grover and
Jordan Lawson earned the prestigious MIAA Academic Excellence Award while
Shannon Greene, Rebekah Kirker and
Mykenzie Livesay were also recognized by the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association in its annual spring academic awards list.
Grover and Lawson were selected for the MIAA Academic Excellence Award after posting cumulative grade point averages of 4.0. Grover is a history major while Lawson is a business administration major.
All five players were additionally named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, an award bestowed upon student-athletes at a member institution with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher through two completed semesters. Greene, an accounting major, and Livesay, a wellness major, are both seniors. Kirker, meanwhile, is a sophomore elementary education major.
