Kaloni Pryear scored 19 points and
Virja Lewis nearly had a double-double, but the Lincoln women's basketball team fell to Central Missouri, 82-60, in its first home game of 2020 on Saturday (Jan. 11).
Pryear additionally grabbed four rebounds and dished three assists while Lewis finished with 10 points, eight boards and three steals.
Vivian Chigbu also ended the game in double figures, scoring 13 points to go with three rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist.
Central Missouri (11-3, 5-0 MIAA) out-scored Lincoln (3-11, 0-5 MIAA) in every period, and shot .484 from the field while holding advantages in rebounding (39-36) and turnovers (11-16). The Blue Tigers generated eight steals and held the Jennies to .300 shooting from beyond the arc.
Natasha Dolinsky supplied six points, three rebounds and two assists to the LU cause, and
Kyessence Collins came off the bench to add four points and four boards.
Alecia Gulledge had two points, a pair of steals and an assist, and
Kiara Shoulders also had a steal to go with three assists and two rebounds.
Vedrana Radosavljevic ended the day with two boards and two points, and
Anna Munoz Vidueira provided two points and a rebound near the end of the game.
Nia McCaskill represented LU with three boards and an assist, and
Natasha Elliott rounded out the scoring with two points.
Lincoln will be at home for its next two games, with the Blue Tigers hosting Missouri Southern on Thursday (Jan. 16) at 5:30 p.m. CST.
