JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln softball team plays its final home games of 2019 on Tuesday (April 16), as the Blue Tigers host Drury for a pair of games beginning at 1:00 p.m. CDT.
The 2019 campaign has already seen one record fall, as
Camryn Pryor has broken the program's single-season mark for hits with 52 on the year, but another may fall on Tuesday. With 15 doubles,
Tori Nienhueser is in range of the program record of 17, held by teammate
Jordan Lawson. Nienhueser has 11 hits in the past 11 games, while Pryor, who is batting .388, had eight hits in last weekend's four-game series against Lindenwood.
As a team, the Blue Tigers are batting .281, with six players hitting .280 or better.
Rachael Balke, who leads Lincoln with five home runs and also has hit 11 doubles, is batting .316 while leading the team with 25 RBI.
Emily Williams, a .327 batter, has 32 hits on the year, including seven doubles, while
Mykenzie Livesay is hitting .294 with 20 RBI and nine doubles. Balke has 42 hits and Lawson, a .304 batter, has 40 hits on the year.

Shannon Greene leads the Blue Tigers with 47 strikeouts, and she and Lawson are the likely starters for Tuesday.
Trista Heavin, who has only allowed 18 hits on the year, has become a consistent reliever during the second half of the season.
