Highlighted by an unprecedented four-way tie, sophomore Michelle Cumberbatch was one of the four named MIAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday.

This is the first time Cumberbatch has claimed the award, as she took the top spot in the 400-meter hurdles by over four seconds with a time of 1:03.19 at the Gateway Classic/SIU-Edwardsville. She holds the second-best time in Division II in the event with a time of 59.60 set earlier this spring at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.
