Mark Laishley


Mark Laishley joined the Lincoln athletic department as the head strength & conditioning coach in the summer of 2026 and is in his first year with the Blue Tigers.

Laishley previously served as the Director of Olympic Strength & Conditioning at NCAA Division I Murray State from 2022-26. Laishley was in charge of programming and implementation of sports performance programs for the Racers' baseball, women's basketball, volleyball, women's soccer and rifle teams. He additionally assisted with the MSU football program with its strength & conditioning, and he was in charge of devising and organizing the sports performance internship program.

With Laishley's assistance, Murray State's baseball program earned its first-ever trip to the College World Series while ranking as high as No. 8 in the nation. Laishley also worked with the MSU women's basketball team as it won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference championships. Laishley helped develop multiple player of the year honorees and all-conference selections, and he has mentored multiple athletes drafted by Major League Baseball teams.

Laishley began his collegiate career as a graduate assistant at Missouri Western, working with the men's and women's golf, women's soccer and women's tennis teams. He also assisted with MWSU's football, baseball, basketball, volleyball and softball programs. Laishley additionally completed sports performance internships at the University of Kansas and the University of North Georgia.

A 2020 graduate of North Georgia with a degree in kinesiology, Laishley also earned a master's degree in sports and facilities management from Missouri Western in 2022.
