Essuon is in her first season with the Blue Tigers after transferring from Mineral Area College… Last season, she played in 15 games while battling injuries to average over five points per game (5.4), over four rebounds (4.4), and 10 steals while shooting over 50 percent from the field (53)… Received the Coaches Award in both 2008 and 2009, while also being named MVP in 2008 and collecting the Rookie Award in 2009… Participated in basketball while attending St. Marguerite D’Youville High School in Brampton, Ontario… For her career, she averaged 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a block… Daughter of Rev. John and Leticia Essuon and has two siblings, Felix (26) and Michael (16)… Majoring in medical technology.
