Stefanie Durant begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Lincoln women's basketball team in 2017-18.

Durant previously coached with Pensacola High in Florida from 2010-16, helping the team reach the state final four during her first two seasons. Pensacola additionally won district championships in each of those years. Over the following four seasons, Pensacola High posted a winning record, including an 14-5 mark in 2012-13 and a 17-9 mark in 2015-16.

A 2003 graduate of Pensacola High, Durant was a four-year starter as the point guard. She led the program to a district title in 2001-02, earning all-conference honors in the process.

As a senior, Durant was nominated to the McDonald All-American team. Despite tearing her ACL and MCL that season, Durant ended up earning her second all-conference award. Durant, who was named as one of the top-25 point guards in the state of Florida in her class in 2003, joined some of the top female players in the country at the the Blue Chips Basketball Camp before the start of her senior year.

Following graduation, Durant received a scholarship to play at Palm Beach Community College, where she helped the program win a league title in 2004-05. She then transferred to Atlanta Metropolitan College before finishing her career at the University of Montevallo, an NCAA Division II program. Durant helped each of those programs qualify for their respective conference tournaments.
