Mykenzie Livesay returned to the Lincoln softball team to serve as a graduate assistant in 2021. She is in her second season as a coach of the Blue Tigers.
2020: SENIOR SEASON
Tied for third on the team with 15 hits ... started all 20 games in the COVID-19 shortened season ... finished with eight runs, five RBI, three doubles and a triple ... hit .273 and had a .333 on-base percentage ... recorded 35 putouts and a team-high 30 assists.
2019: JUNIOR SEASON
Started all 50 games and tallied 35 hits, including nine doubles and a homerun ... scored 10 runs and finished second among the Blue Tigers with 22 RBI ... ended the year with a .276 batting average and a .331 on-base percentage ... recorded 76 putouts and turned 57 assists.
2018: SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started 47 games ... finished with 26 hits, including six doubles ... scored 19 runs and batted in 13 more ... had five hits as Lincoln swept Stephens (2/26) ... had four multiple-hit performances.
2017: FRESHMAN SEASON
Started all 52 games and tied for the team-lead with 17 runs ... notched 32 hits, including four doubles and two homers ... finished second on the team with 15 RBI ... posted 110 putouts and 73 assists ... scored four runs to help Lincoln beat NCAA Division I opponent Grambling State (3/3) ... had two hits and three RBI in a win over Langston (3/4) ... went 3-for-4 at the plate to help Lincoln finish a sweep over Fort Hays State (4/6).
HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time all-conference honoree at Steelville High ... also earned all-district honors and was named academic all-state ... earned three varsity letters.
PERSONAL
Born on September 3, 1997 ... daughter of Mike and Cheri Livesay ... has three siblings: Randi Livesay, Dustin Livesay and Kasey McMillen ... cousin Jennifer Havard played softball at Hannibal-LaGrange ... selected to the Principal's Honor Roll for all 16 quarters of her high school career and was second in her graduating class ... also played basketball and volleyball at Steelville, earning all-conference honors in basketball twice ... sports management major.
