Cheyenne Meyer

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant

Cheyenne Meyer begins her second season as a graduate assistant with the Lincoln softball team in 2021.

In her first year with the team, Meyer helped the Blue Tigers begin the season 4-0 for the first time in program history. The Blue Tigers improved in both hitting and fielding, and ended the shortened-season with the third-fewest errors of any MIAA Program. Despite the 2020 campaign being shortened due to COVID-19, Meyer helped LU post its highest win total since 2013.

Before joining the Blue Tigers, Meyer had a three-year career at Morehead State, an NCAA Division I program in Kentucky. Meyer started 47 games for the Eagles, and was one of the team's top defenders, recording a .987 fielding percentage in 2018.

Meyer played her freshman year at another NCAA Division I program, Marshall, where she made four starts and was primarily used as a pinch hitter. Prior to her collegiate career, Meyer had a successful tenure at Cedar Creek High, helping the program win a conference championship. During her four years at Cedar Creek, Meyer tallied 204 hits and 30 homeruns while earning first team all-conference, all-state and All-South Jersey recognition.
