John Amoah was named the goalkeepers coach of the Lincoln men's soccer team in 2024 and is in his first season with the Blue Tigers.
Amoah was a member of the first LU men's soccer team when Lincoln brought back the sport in 2023. Amoah practiced with the Blue Tigers and played in scrimmages to help prepare LU for the 2024 regular season.
Before coming to Lincoln, Amoah was a player-coach at Maine-Fort Kent in 2022 and concurrently served as an administrative aide. As the keeper, Amoah helped lead the Bengals to a 13-1-1 record and the 2022 United States Collegiate Athletics Association national championship. In 2021, Amoah led UMFK to the USCAA championship game where the Bengals finished as the national runner-up.
Amoah was a part of the Champion of Ghana Division I team in 2018-19.
