AJ Tiell joined the Lincoln men's basketball program as an assistant coach in 2025-26.
During his first season at LU, Tiell helped lead the Blue Tigers to a 3-0 start and 11 total victories. One of the players he worked with, Max Ekon, was selected to the GLVC All-Defensive team.
A native of Orlando, Fla., Tiell joined the Blue Tigers after spending four seasons as the head manager for the University of Central Florida's men's basketball program. During his tenure with the Knights, Tiell assisted with day-to-day operations, on-court player development, travel logistics and film coordination. While Tiell was a part of the program, UCF posted four-consecutive winning seasons and made three appearances in the NIT.
