Ruben Iosefa join the Lincoln football team as the defensive line coach in the spring of 2022. He is in his first season with the program.
Iosefa coached four all-conference players while serving as the defensive coordinator at Millsaps between 2020-21. Iosefa additionally was the linebackers coach, helping two players from that position earn second team all-league recognition, and was the program's equipment manager.
Prior to his time at Millsaps, Iosefa had a very successful season at Mt. San Antonio, helping lead the program to a North Central Conference Championship. Iosefa coached the outside linebackers and served as the defensive run game coordinator, and Mt. San Antonio ended the season with the conference's best defense. Two of the linebackers Iosefa coached earned first team all-conference honors.
Iosefa graduated from Whittier in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sociology.
