Eric Lee joined the Lincoln football program as the defensive backs coach and camp coordinator in the spring of 2024 and is in his first season with the Blue Tigers.
Lee previously coached with LU head coach Moses Harper at Nebraska Kearney, where Lee served as the secondary coach during the 2023 season. Lee coached two players who earned All-MIAA recognition and helped lead the Lopers' scouting and recruiting efforts. Lee, who worked with UNK's corners and safeties in practice, also assisted in breaking down game tape to help with game strategy.
Before joining the college ranks, Lee was the head of football operations and the defensive back coach at Orange Lutheran High School in 2021 and 2022. Lee worked with two players who were named to the Trinity League second team and four others who ended up playing at NCAA programs, including two who went to Division I institutions.Â
Lee earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Nebraska in 2018 and a master's degree in education from the same school in 2020. He is currently pursuing a master's of arts degree in higher education with an emphasis on student affairs at Nebraska Kearney.
