Forsythe enters his second season with the Blue Tigers after competing at Mineral Area College… Last year with Lincoln, Forsythe saw action in 19 games on the mound, compiling a 0-1 record, 4.82 ERA, 18.2 innings, 14 strikeouts and 17 walks out of the bullpen. During the 2008 season at Mineral Area, Forsythe played in 11 games all on the mound, pitching in 30 innings, allowing 22 runs, 18 earned, striking out 18 and walking 11, while tallying a 2-2 overall record and a 5.28 ERA. While attending Park Hills Central High School, Forsythe competed in both baseball and basketball, recording four letters in baseball and three more in basketball… Had a stellar ERA during his senior season on the mound of just .97… Named to the second-team all-state, all-conference and all-district teams in high school. Son of Danny and Michelle Forsythe and has one sibling, Jesse, 19. Majoring in physical education.
