Curtis Vaughan


A Jefferson City native, Curtis Vaughan joined the Lincoln baseball team as the assistant coach in 2023-24.

For the past six years, Vaughan has been the assistant coach at Westminster College, helping the Blue Jays win the SLIAC championship in 2016. That season, Vaughan helped Westminster lead the league in 15 statistics while finishing fourth in the country in scoring, seventh in slugging percentage, ninth in runs, ninth in triples and 10th in home runs.

While attending Missouri State University, Vaughan began his coaching career by working with the Jefferson City Post 5 American Legion program. Vaughan also played in the program and spent 20 total years with the Post 5 American Legion team, helping the program win three state championships and make seven final four appearances.

Vaughan was a four-year baseball player at Helias High School and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Missouri State.
