THE KICKOFF:  The Lincoln women's soccer team will attempt to even its season record when the Blue Tigers travel to Kansas City, Mo. on Wednesday (Sept. 23) to play Rockhurst at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Lincoln split its two matches last week, beating Upper Iowa on Wednesday (Sept. 16), 1-0, before dropping a 2-1 decision on Sunday (Sept. 20) at Truman State. That has LU sitting at 3-4 on the season and 2-3 in league play, but the Blue Tigers can get back to .500 with a victory on Wednesday evening. It will be a staunch test, however, as Rockhurst is 6-1-1 on the year as well as 4-1 in GLVC play. The Hawks suffered their first lost of the season last Saturday (Sept. 19, as RU lost at home to Quincy, 4-0.
 
WARM UPS
- This will be the third meeting between Rockhurst and Lincoln. The Hawks have won each of the previous two meetings.
 
- Rockhurst won on its home field, 5-0, last season.
 
- The Blue Tigers have won two of their last three games, and are 1-2 on the road this season.
 
PREVIEWING THE BLUE TIGERS:  Lincoln has used two goalkeepers, with Kristin Oliver earning the win over Harris Stowe while Kanon Dehama posted a shutout against Southwest Baptist. TeTee Jallah and Mia Greathouse each had scored twice while Sofia Valdivia and Madison Wimberly both have a goal and an assist. Natalie Bevan and Leah Serritos also have scored goals, and Rachael Noel and Vanessa Dagher each have an assist.
 
HEAD COACH LEAH STRINGER:  With a pair of wins in LU's first-ever matches, Leah Stringer is off to a strong start as the coach of the Blue Tigers. No stranger to NCAA Division II or the great state of Missouri, Stringer is in her third year coaching LU after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant at Missouri Western. She helped lead the Griffons to the No. 13 national ranking in 2021 and helped the team post a .708 win percentage that season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Lincoln 1, Upper Iowa 0
TeTee Jallah scored the only goal of the match in the 80th minute and Kanon Dehama picked up her second shutout of the season as the Blue Tigers beat Upper Iowa, 1-0, in Fayette, Iowa on Sept. 16. Dehama made three saves and Madison Wimberly had six total shots, including three on the goal.
 
Truman State 2, Lincoln 1
Truman State scored just before halftime and LU got on the board just after the break, but the tie was broken when the Bulldogs scored in the 82nd minute for a 2-1 victory in Kirksville, Mo. on Sept. 20. Mia Greathouse scored LU's goal.
 
SCOUTING THE HAWKS:  Caitlyn Smith, who has an assist, and Jenna Roark each have scored four goals. Maggie Leahy, who also has a goal, is tied with Kaitlyn Hobart and Jacie Tottleben with two assists apiece. Jazmin Martinez Rangel and Julia Witt both have two goals while four other RU players have each scored once. Sydney Schnarr has played all but 45 minutes in goal and has 42 saves.
 
STRAIGHT SHOOTERS:  When the Blue Tigers try a shot, it tends to go towards the net. On 62 total attempts in 2026, Lincoln has 35 shots on goal, an accuracy rating of .565. That mark is third in the GLVC and ranks as the 31st-best in Division II. The Blue Tigers average 8.9 overall shots per game, with 5.0 of those attempts being on goal.
 
PROGRAM HISTORY:  The Lincoln women's soccer team made program history on Sept. 13 with its 1-0 victory against Southwest Baptist. The win came on Lincoln's home turf, marking the first time in LU's three years as a program that the Blue Tigers have won a GLVC match at home. All of Lincoln's previous conference wins came on the road. With the win, LU is now 2-0-1 all-time against SBU.
 
WITH THE SAVE:  After allowing only two goals in 180 minutes last week, Kanon Dehama now has the GLVC's eighth-best save percentage of .778. Dehama, who had five saves in the win over Southwest Baptist, is sixth in the conference in saves per game (4.2). Dehama now has made 21 total saves on the year as well as two shutouts while Kristin Oliver has made eight saves in a pair of appearances.
 
GREAT SHOTS:  Both Mia Greathouse and TeTee Jallah have eight shots on the goal, and Jallah and Madison Wimberly are tied for the team-lead with 13 attempts apiece. Jallah, Wimberly and Sofia Valdivia each have a game-winning goal, and Greathouse has 10 total shot attempts. Wimberly has seven shots on the net.
 
HOME ADVANTAGE:  Lincoln's scheduled to play more home matches than away games in 2026, with each of the Blue Tigers' first two games being played in Jefferson City. After that, Lincoln will play four road matches compared to three home contests in September, but in October is home four times while on the road for three games.
 
NO PENALTY FOR HER:  Leah Serritos made Lincoln's only penalty shot attempt of 2026 vs. Missouri Southern. She is one of just five players in the GLVC with a penalty goal and one of 100 in NCAA Division II.
