JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln head coach Moses Harper, senior wide receiver Marcus Harris and senior defensive Mark Gorbatenko will represent the Blue Tigers at the GLVC Football Kickoff, the Great Lakes Valley Conference's annual football media day, on Friday (July 31). The Kickoff will begin at 11:30 a.m. CDT and will take place across multiple social media platforms, including X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook.
Harper, who coached seven players to All-GLVC honors last year, is in his third season as the head coach of the Lincoln football team and will lead the Blue Tigers into their third season as full members of the GLVC. Harris earned All-GLVC first team recognition after ranking 10th in Division II and second in the league in yards per reception (21.38). Gorbatenko, a graduate transfer from Davenport, was a second team All-Midwest Conference player in 2024 after recording seven sacks at the University of Chicago.
Harper, Harris and Gorbatenko will rotate through different activities, including a press conference, which will be broadcast live on the GLVC Sports Network. Fans can follow along on Lincoln's and the GLVC's social media accounts, with content expected to be added throughout the day.
