THE TIP OFF:  The Lincoln women's basketball team is back in Jason Gym this week to start the final month of the regular season with a pair of games against GLVC opponents. On Thursday (Feb. 5), the Blue Tigers host their annual Think Pink game, as players and coaches help raise awareness for breast cancer and its prevention. Fans are encouraged to join the Blue Tigers in wearing pink to the game, and Lincoln students will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last. The opponent that night will be Lewis, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST. Then, on Saturday (Feb. 7), the Blue Tigers host Upper Iowa at 1:00 p.m. CST. Lincoln has a chance to sweep Lewis, as LU beat the Flyers on the road earlier this season. LU Is also trying to split the season series with Upper Iowa.
 
FAST BREAKS
- On Thursday, Lincoln and Lewis meet for the fourth time ever. The Flyers lead the all-time series, which just started in 2024-25, 3-1.
 
- The Blue Tigers beat the Flyers in Romeoville, Ill. back on Dec. 6, as Lincoln rallied from a 25-5 deficit to win, 67-65.
 
- Saturday marks the sixth meeting between Upper Iowa and Lincoln. UIU leads the series, 3-2.
 
- The Peacocks beat the Blue Tigers, 90-67, in Fayette, Iowa on Dec. 4.
