THE TIP OFF:  The Lincoln women's basketball team closes its 2025-26 home slate this week with a pair of games against GLVC opponents. On Thursday (Feb. 19), the Blue Tigers host William Jewell at 5:30 p.m. CST. That will be Greek Night and will recognize LU's fraternities and sororities. On Saturday (Feb. 21), Lincoln plays its final home game of the season when the Blue Tigers host Rockhurst at 1:00 p.m. CST. Saturday is Senior Day and a postgame ceremony will recognize graduating players Kennedy Jones, Laini Joseph, Isis Sanders and Kaleah Toran. All three teams are striving to end their seasons on a high note; the Blue Tigers are 2-15 in the GLVC while Rockhurst is 3-13 in league play. At 0-22, William Jewell is still playing for its first victory of the season.
 
FAST BREAKS
- Lincoln and William Jewell will play each other for the seventh time on Thursday. The Cardinals lead the series, 5-1.
 
- LU's victory in the series came in 2021-22, when the Blue Tigers beat William Jewell on the road, 65-50.
 
- On Saturday, Lincoln plays Rockhurst for the 26th time. The Hawks hold a slim 13-12 advantage in the series.
 
- Rockhurst has won two-straight in the series, including beating LU in Kansas City, 78-50, last year. LU's last win was a 66-60 overtime victory at home in 2009-10.
