THE TIP OFF:  The Lincoln women's basketball team is back in Jason Gym this weekend after playing its last three games on the road, and hosts a pair of GLVC rivals. On Thursday (Jan. 22), LU plays in front of its home fans for the first time since Jan. 2 when the Blue Tigers host Maryville in a 5:30 p.m. CST contest. On Saturday (Jan. 24), Lincoln returns to Jason Gym to host McKendree at 1:00 p.m. CST. The Blue Tigers are seeking their first win of 2026 and trying to snap a seven-game skid. Lincoln is also playing for its third GLVC victory of the season. The Saints are 14-4 overall and 8-2 in league play entering this week and are riding a four-game win streak. The Bearcats, meanwhile, had a four-game win streak ended on Jan. 17 with an 83-80 loss to Drury and is 9-6 overall.
 
FAST BREAKS
- Lincoln and Maryville will meet for the 10th time when the Blue Tigers host the Saints on Thursday. LU leads the all-time series, 5-4.
 
- Maryville has won two-straight in the series, including beating Lincoln in St. Louis, Mo. last season, 74-62.
 
- The Blue Tigers and the Bearcats play one another for the ninth time on Saturday afternoon. The all-time series is currently tied, 4-4.
 
- McKendree defeated Lincoln, 80-58, when the teams last played each other on Jan. 23, 2025.
