Kiara Cabrera and
Taelyn Smith each scored eight points to lead the Lincoln women's basketball team in scoring against Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday (Jan. 17). The Blue Tigers shot .333 from three-point range and held the Tritons to 4-for-14 on three-point tries, but Lincoln fell to UMSL, 92-45.
Taelyn Smith had two rebounds while
Aaliyah Smith led Lincoln (4-12, 2-7 GLVC) with six rebounds while blocking three shots, chipping in five points, notching a steal and dishing an assist.
Hallie Williamson and
Isis Sanders each scored seven points and registered a steal, with Williamson also pulling down a rebound. Sanders tied for the team-lead with three assists.
Bella Borgos finished with six points and four boards.
Kennedy Jones stole the ball twice from Missouri-St. Louis (14-2, 10-0 GLVC) and made a free throw to go with five boards and three assists.
Kaleah Toran rounded out Lincoln with three points, three assists and three rebounds.
Lincoln is back in Jason Gym on Thursday (Jan. 22) to host Maryville at 5:30 p.m. CST.
